can I get work study if I have 15k in savings?

I’m thinking about going back to college to get my masters. I’ve held odd jobs throughout the past year. Right now I’m a substitute teacher and make around 20k a year…..but I would rather just do work study to pay for tuition and move back home.

I have about $15,000 in savings in my checking account – will that make me ineligible?
